Founder/Chief Executive Officer (FL):

Jack has been in the advertising business since 1952, when he helped create and sell demographic editions for Farm Journal magazine.  Quite an innovation for the times.  In 1972, Jack founded J.L. Farmakis, Inc. and has watched the company grow to one of the largest publishers representative firms in the U.S.

President (CT): 

Bill has been with J.L. Farmakis for more than 18 years. He is a graduate of Babson College, a private business school specializing in small-business management and marketing. He was employed by IBM in New York City for ten years in sales and marketing - calling on Time Inc. and Bell Atlantic. In 1991, Bill joined J.L. Farmakis, Inc. as the Eastern Sales Manager and became President in 1998.  Bill is presently treasurer of The National Association of Publishers Representatives.

Vice President  Midwest Operations (IA): 

Russ joined JL Farmakis in 1977 after graduating from Iowa State University with degrees in Ag Journalism and Animal Science. He has developed numerous, proprietary communications tools for our publisher clients. Tools that have provided unique opportunities for advertisers and increased revenue for our publishers.

Director (MN):

Jeanne joined J.L. Farmakis in 1997 after extensive experience in the advertising agency business and advertising sales. Jeanne is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her sales territory extends from Minnesota to the southeast.  Jeanne is a former chapter president and national committee chairperson for the National Agri-Marketing Association.

Vice President Radio Operations (CT): 

Patti began her career with J.L. Farmakis in high school. She graduated from the University of Colorado in 1992, receiving degrees in Economics and Finance. She returned to the east coast and J.L. Farmakis in 1995. In addition to heading up the radio team and selling print properties, Patti is also in charge of computer technology at Farmakis.

Midwest Office Manager (IA): 

Luann has worked for J.L. Farmakis for 18 years and coordinates industry functions including publisher meetings and conventions. She has a B.S. in Agricultural Journalism from Iowa State University with an emphasis in broadcasting. 

Director of Ag Print Media (CT): 

Anne joined J.L. Farmakis, Inc. in 2002.  She works in the Wilton, CT office and is responsible for the traffic coordination of all agricultural print publication activities.

Account Director (MO):

Bob is the newest member of the J.L. Farmakis, Inc. sales team. Bob brings a wealth of experience to the team with his diverse agency background. Bob graduated from the University of Kansas and held account and media positions at both Valentine Radford and McCormick Advertising. Bob is an avid golfer and father of two girls.

Print Media Coordinator (CT):

Amy joined J.L. Farmakis, Inc. in 2007. Amy is responsible for the account managment of all the AKC properties.

Account Manager (MN)

Robin joined J.L. Farmakis, Inc. in 2007. Robin leads our telemarketing efforts after spending 10 years in the mortgage industry.
